The corporate film multiplies the advantages. It is an internal communication tool, a marketing and advertising lever, original and engaging content ideally suited to social networks... But these potential benefits can turn against the company: a corporate video will quickly be described as "out of date" or “laughable” by Internet users if it does not meet a minimum of quality requirements. Wobbly shots, non-existent narration, choppy editing, speaker unable to string more than three words together... So many negative details which will not go unnoticed, and will be widely commented on on the networks - at the risk of hiding the message. This is why this type of content has every interest in being entrusted to a service provider whose job it is.
STEP 1
We start by delimiting the contours of the project. Your corporate video must fit within a rigorous framework, drawn from the answers to the following questions: what is its main objective? What message do you want to send? For which audience? You will then need to choose a video format, define a maximum duration, think about the setting (where will it be filmed?), and establish your budget.
STEP 2
As in the cinema, the production of a corporate video must go through a pre-production phase in two stages: the script and the storyboard. The first is similar to a dashboard including all the essential information: progress of the film, action, dialogues, voice-over, filming location, distribution of roles, succession of speakers, sound and text design, material needs, filming dates , etc.
STEP 3
The storyboard is the second stage of preproduction. It’s a visual version of the script: we materialize the ideas put down on paper in the form of illustrations corresponding to the images that will be shot. The storyboard gives valuable information to the technical team, since it describes each shot and details each shot, which allows the filming schedule to be rigorously organized.
STEP 4
With a well-designed script and storyboard, filming the corporate video should be a formality. It's simply a matter of giving yourself the best possible conditions: decor prepared in advance, speakers briefed and knowing their text, filming location protected from parasitic noise (the sounds of horns coming from the street have a bad effect), equipment available on the day J.
STEP 5
It’s time to move on to post-production of the corporate film. Editing consists of choosing the best takes and pasting them in the order provided by the narration, if necessary inserting transitions. You then have to calibrate the video (correct the light and colors), integrate sound and textual elements, mix the sound, or even incorporate visual effects.
STEP 6
Once the corporate video is finished and polished, it remains for distribution to the audiences concerned. The relevant channels depend on the chosen targets: emailing or intranet for internal communication, newsletter or social networks to reach audiences outside the company, distribution as part of an event, etc.
2 SOLUTIONS AVAILABLE TO YOU
WE ALREADY HAVE THE MATERIAL (THE RUSHES)
Rushes constitute all the original documents (film reels, soundtracks, video cassettes) produced during filming and from the camera and/or sound recording device. Only part of these original documents will be used during editing and post-production. This material can be purchased online on numerous sites, allowing production of the video clip to begin as soon as possible. In this case, it is essential to have determined the theme, the spirit as well as the quality of the originals that we will download to produce the final clip.
FROM 1500 €
WE DON'T HAVE THE MATERIAL (THE RUSHES)
We will have to manufacture all the essential editing materials for post-production. “Choosing the right filming location is very important.” The filming location is indeed decisive for the sequel, it immerses the scene in a particular atmosphere. A bad filming location is an average or too obvious filming location. An industrial hall, a ruin or a beautiful landscape are ideal filming locations. » The success of a music video begins with good preparation. “To plan your shoots and settle the various details, you must use a storyboard. A storyboard is a visual interpretation of the scenario. The aim is to visually describe the action of the clip and to indicate the technical elements for filming. » Each clip consists of several scenes and each scene consists of different shots. This means using multiple camera movements and placements that you can edit or edit later. Each plan consists of several ‘takes’. These are real shots from which we choose the best... And so on: casting of actors (actresses), selection of lights according to the desired result, shooting equipment...
IN ALL CASES
Any self-respecting musician or DJ should have their own video clips. But how can you create the ultimate music video without breaking the bank? There are various examples of music videos that were recorded with an iPhone or a digital camera. Of course, you need to master a few basic principles that will allow you to make a good video clip.
My goal is to produce the visual you dream of in perfect harmony with your music. No matter the musical style, the result must enhance your artistic creation. This requires sufficient discussion beforehand, of course after you have committed to the overall budget.
